- OUTS Promotion - The "OUTS" promo at Aced is definitely my favorite. It doesn't require you to do anything except play poker at your preferred stakes/game. One their web site they have a list of over 30 scenarios that allow you to win some bonus comp points. Below are a few examples:

- Catch a "2 outer" and win - 100 points
- Play 30 hands of Holdem, Omaha and Stud within an hour - 500 points

- VIP Program - The VIP/loyalty program at Aced Poker is on of the best I have come across in my online poker experience. They use a 4 tier system and moving up through the tiers isn't very difficult compared to other rooms. I really don't have room to list all of the benefits here but suffice it to say that you will be well rewarded even if you only play once or twice a week.
- Freerolls - I am not a big fan of freerolls but I am sure many of you are so I figured I would include some info on them in this review because Aced Poker offers the best freerolls on the internet. That may seem like a bold statement but it is really true. Even the largest rooms like Full Tilt and Party Poker don't even come close to Aced in terms of freerolls (even if you combined them). Below is a run down on the free roll tournaments at Aced (except the new player and new depositor freerolls which I mentioned above).
- $50 freeroll every 2 hours - everyone can play.
- $1,000 freeroll Monday thru Friday - if you have earned 1,000 comp points in the 3 days prior you will be automatically eligible for these.
- $2,000 Saturday freeroll - same requirements as above.
- $10,000 Sunday freeroll - earn 2,500 comp points the week before the start of the tournament and you are eligible.
- $50,000 monthly freeroll - This will run on the last Sunday of every month. You will need to earn 5,000 comp points during the entire month to play.
- Sitngo freerolls - These run 7 days a week and start virtually every minute. There are 3 steps in these freerolls. Enter the "Step 1" freeroll and if you beat the 5 other players you will win a ticket to the Step 2 sitngo. Win that one and you win a ticket to the Step 3 sitngo which is a 10 seat sitngo that offers a $1 prize pool. While these may not be very attractive to the typical person players that just play for fun can get a lot of excitement from these and build up a free bankroll.
Aced Poker Comp Points
As mentioned above the number of comp points you earn qualifies you for special freerolls and determines your VIP status. Playing in these freerolls does not consume comp points though. You still get to spend them and Aced Poker offers the best prices in town. Since they recently launched they have not added any merchandise but they do allow you to buy cash bonuses and tournament tickets. They offers these at huge discounts compared to other rooms on the network. The main room on the Merge Network is Carbon Poker. If you bought a $11 tournament ticket at Carbon it would cost you 50,000 comp points. At Aced Poker it only costs 3,400. As you can see the difference is staggering. For a few hours of play at the medium stakes tables you can earn enough points to buy a $60 tournament credit. You can earn comp points extremely fast by playing their casino games like Blackjack and video poker.
Aced Poker Software & Game Variety
The software at Aced Poker was developed by the Merge Gaming Network. It is extremely unique and offers numerous cool features you won't find at any other room. For instance you have the option to do a rabbit hunt (when everyone folds you can have the dealer flip over the remaining community cards), type "donkey" and a donkey animation will appear on the table that's visible to everyone (there are many of these), when you are all in you can have the dealer deal the community cards twice, tagging and buddy system and many features like the option to just show 1 hole card like you see a lot at the big live tournaments.
The software comes loaded with games. You can play Texas Holdem, Omaha (and Hi-Lo), 7 Card Stud (and Hi-Lo), Razz, 5 Card Draw, 5 Card Stud, 2-7 Triple Draw, Badugi, backgammon, Euchre and mixed poker games like H.O.R.S.E, R.A.S.H and H.O.S.E. They offer several casino games as well which are available from within the poker platform. These games include video poker (3 games), blackjack, roulette and Caribbean Stud (with a progressive jackpot).
Special Aced Poker Jackpots & Bonuses
Aced Poker offers several different jackpots and bonuses. The most notable is the Bad Beat jackpot. It was hit on 2/14/09, at $1,200,000 it was the largest Badbeat jackpot in the history of online poker. A player lost with a straight flush to a higher straight flush and he received $400,000. The player that beat him received $300,000 and everyone else at the table received $50,000. That was about a week ago and the jackpot is already over $250,000.
Another jackpot they offer is a Caribbean Stud progressive jackpot. For an extra $.20/hand you will qualify for the jackpot. Currently it is over $100,000 for a Royal Flush. If you catch a straight flush you will win 10% of the jackpot and they also offer jackpot payout's for a flush, 4 of a kind and full houses.
You can also win special bonuses by getting certain hands. If you get a Royal Flush at any of the Texas Holdem tables you will receive a bonus of 100X the big blind. Catching 4 aces is worth 40X the big blind. This adds a lot of excitement to the game while you are playing.
